A 15” cooking spoon made from locally sourced black walnut wood from North Carolina. An extended version of the popular 12” cooking spoon. This spoon was created with the deeper soup pots in mind, more catered to stirring. The bowl of the spoon is 3” diameter.
This utensil is made-to order; You will receive the utensil featured or one of the same design, similar in grain and color.
Each utensil is finished with a food safe blend of walnut oil and beeswax, giving it a soft, natural sheen that enhances the wood’s color and grain (those with nut allergies should avoid contact with walnut oil).
To clean, gently hand wash using light soap and water — never place in the dishwasher or sit in water. Regular maintenance with food safe oil will help prevent drying and preserve the finish.
