A 10” cooking spoon made from locally sourced sweet gum wood from North Carolina. This cooking spoon is a shorter variation of the traditional cooking spoon I make and is more suited to be used as a serving spoon but can still be used as an everyday cooking spoon. The bowl of the spoon is 3” diameter.

Each utensil is finished with a food safe blend of walnut oil and beeswax, giving it a soft, natural sheen that enhances the wood’s color and grain (those with nut allergies should avoid contact with walnut oil).
To clean, gently hand wash using light soap and water — never place in the dishwasher or sit in water. Regular maintenance with food safe oil will help prevent drying and preserve the finish.
