A 12” cooking spoon made from locally sourced hardwoods from North Carolina and available in Cherry, Hard Maple, or Black Walnut. This utensil is a traditional cooking spoon designed for stirring sauces, soups, and sautéed dishes during everyday cooking. The spoon bowl measures approximately 3” in diameter and is around ½” deep – these measurements can vary slightly due to the nature of being made by hand.
This utensil is made-to order; You will receive the utensil featured or one of the same design. Please keep in mind that the color and grain of the wood will vary.
-Finish & Safety-
Each utensil is finished with a food safe blend of walnut oil and beeswax, giving it a soft, natural sheen that enhances the wood’s color and grain (those with nut allergies should avoid contact with walnut oil).
-Care Instructions-
To clean, gently hand wash using light soap and water — never place in the dishwasher.
Regular maintenance with food safe oil will help prevent cracking and preserve the finish for years to come.
