Here at the Carolina Grain Co. Shop, it is my goal to provide wonderful folks like you with beautiful handcrafted and one of a kind pieces for their home and kitchen that will serve them for years to come! The wood I use has been specifically picked to offer the highest quality item that can be used for an array of uses throughout your home. All woods are native to North Carolina and have been sustainably harvested to ensure a second and long life for the tree.

All of my pieces are also finished with natural and food safe finishes that include a mixture of tung oil, walnut oil and bees wax.

This 4" × 4" ceramic canister is finished in Carolina Coast, a rich turquoise glaze, and paired with a hand-turned hickory lid. Perfect for storing salt, sugar, coffee, tea, spices, and other everyday kitchen essentials.

Care: Hand wash with mild soap and water and dry thoroughly before replacing the wooden lid. To help preserve the wood's natural beauty, occasionally apply a food-safe oil or board butter as needed.

12" Handmade Wooden Offset Spatula
$30.00

– About This Utensil –

A 12” offset-handle spatula made from locally sourced hardwoods from North Carolina and available in Cherry, Hard Maple, or Black Walnut. This spatula features a gently angled handle that lifts the hand away from the cooking surface, along with a thin, rounded working edge. The design is inspired by a traditional wok-style spatula and works well for stirring, lifting, and turning food in pans or woks.

The spatula base measures approximately 3” wide and tapers over 4” toward the handle. Measurements may vary slightly due to the nature of being handmade. This spatula is solid wood and is not flexible like metal or silicone spatulas.

This utensil is made to order. You will receive the utensil featured or one of the same design. Please keep in mind that the color and grain of the wood will vary.

– Finish & Safety –

Each utensil is finished with a food-safe blend of walnut oil and beeswax, giving it a soft natural sheen that enhances the wood’s color and grain. (Those with nut allergies should avoid contact with walnut oil.)

– Care Instructions –

To clean, gently hand wash using light soap and water — never place in the dishwasher.

Regular maintenance with food-safe oil will help prevent cracking and preserve the finish for years to come.

A care card is included with all purchases.
